  1. Hi,

    just got the Keyboard and now wondering, if Synapse three supports information technology. I wasn’t able to get it detected by Synapse 3. I had to utilize Synapse ii. This is kind of suboptimal, considering I have already Synapse iii installed for administrating my Basilisk. Would be nice to have both devices administrated over Synapse 3.

    regards

    You tin can look at the supported devices listing
    here. Right now just the none TE Blackwidow V2 is supported, But the Blackwidow TE V2 volition likely be added. To add a product, They need to completely redo the programming from Synapse 2, And that takes them quite a while to do.

    Proceed your eyes out, I think we will run across the TE Version existence added to the list soon.

  3. Officially supported devices are listed here:

    https://www.razerzone.com/synapse-3

    Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2 is listed, but non the Tournament Edition.

    I have non done any research to try and understand what (if any) difference in that location is between the two.

    I would send an email to
    Razer Support
    (or maybe fifty-fifty attempt to catch them on Live Chat) and just ask: “Does Synapse 3 support Black Widow Tournament Edition Chroma V2? If not, is at that place any estimate on when support will exist added?”.

    I totally sympathise the desire to try and get it working on your own apace, then you could try the following:
    1. I am assuming you currently have both Synapse 2 and Synapse 3 running on your PC…
    2. Uninstall Synapse 2
    3. Reboot. Subsequently rebooting, if y’all are prompted to install Synapse 2, Cancel the install
    four. Once Synapse iii is loaded and running (after the reboot), unplug your keyboard so plug it dorsum in
    5. Bank check and see if in that location are any updates available for your Synapse iii (click on the gear icon in the upper right hand corner in Synapse iii > Click on Nearly under Settings > Click Cheque for Updates

    Good luck! Be sure and report back with any progress/updates…it could help other people that might accept like questions!
    :)

  4. Thank you for the quick feedback, guys. I already checked the Supported-Device list and saw, the Tournament Edition is not listet. Only the Tournament Edition (V2) isn’t listed in the Supportsection nor is information technology bachelor as a choosable pick if yous open up a supporticket, every bit well. And then I thought, the Keyboard is that new, that it isn’t listed on all the pages, yet.

    @Jenjar
    the keyboard is a make new model, why didn’t they put it directly in Synapse 3?!

    @Grimmw0r
    I’ve spended two hours yesterday trying to get it into Synapse 3. Synapse iii hasn’t detected information technology. I havn’t even tried with Synapse 2 before, considering I thought: new model = new software
    ;)
    After I failed to install, I tried with Synapse 2. Synapse 2 immediately detected the device. At present I accept both versions. It works, but I don’t similar that solution. Understandibly would information technology be nice to have both devices in Synapse 3.

    No thought why they never just put it right into Synapse 3 since Synapse three was out in beta before the TE V2 was released, my but guess is that since it is in beta still, so many people wanted the Blackwidow TE V2 and Synapse 3 has bugs, they put it out under synapse 2 and is marketed as Synapse 2 on the papers that come with it, So they never got complaints about it non doing to proficient on Synapse iii. There also is the chance that it was not ready in time for the release of the keyboard, equally they likely wanted it to go smooth and not bumpy since many people brought this keyboard, and it was more widely advertised and so the other products that take been added to Synapse three since they were released.

  6. I understand. Recently, my Synapse two all of a sudden stopped detecting my 2015 Razer Blade QHD+. I tried using the Submit Feedback option from the Synapse 2 awarding (not certain if that’southward the same as support – simply it seemed really convenient). Evidently the drop downwards lists are built from detected devices, so I was kind of stuck (the only option in my list was my headphones). Maybe someone from Razer will read this and recognize that with the dynamic nature of their electric current product and software landscape they need to offering a little more flexibility in those drib down fields.

    Afterward I uninstalled and reinstalled Synapse 2, it started detecting my Blade once again – that was why I suggested trying that.

    I would try the Razer Support link from my previous mail service and select General Enquiry > Others from the drop downs if there is no other sensible path for your device.

    At this betoken, I recollect it’south a fair assumption that your keyboard is not supported in the Beta even so (I know it’s brand new…dude I become it). I don’t recall information technology would hurt to still inquire the “when” question, though.

    Thank you!
