Numark Nv Firmware Update Has Been Aborted Due to Midi Error

I just purchased a Numark NVii.
I am using the latest VDJ build and got the prompt that said that the NVii is plug and play.

The controller list does not show an option for
Numark NVii

It simply shows
Numark NVii Display Right
Numark NVii Display Left

So I tin manually load a song via laptop, it will testify up on the display, but none of the hardware controls work
Tin I get some help getting it to recognize Numark NVii?

Take you tried a different USB cable/port ?

Any additional USB device/controller connected at the same time ? If and then, endeavor without it.

Which Windows Driver have you lot installed from here ?

Not sure when the 1.05 was released, but in the Release notes file i see “Updated driver signature for certain Windows operating systems. “

When the NVII is plugged, do you run into the device in Windows Device Director (under Sound, Video & game controllers) or perchance a yellow triangle ?

Tried multiple ports and 2 cablesAny boosted USB device/controller connected at the same time ?

No other controllersWhich Windows Commuter accept you installed from hither ?

I downloaded the latest “ane.05, I’ll uninstall restart and attempt i.02
When the NVII is plugged, practise yous see the device in Windows Device Manager (under Sound, Video & game controllers) or perhaps a xanthous triangle ?

The device does show up, no triangles

Please practice the following…
Open VirtualDJ and goto Settings–>OPTIONS tab
Notice the setting “CreateMidiLog” and set it to Yeah
Close VirtualDJ
Goto /Documents/VirtualDJ folder and delete the file Log Report.txt
With the NVII connected to the USB, open up VirtualDJ
Close over again (dont have to do annihilation else)
Postal service hither the content of the Log Report.txt that has been re-generated from the higher up location.

Doesnt seem to find the main unit. Could be a faulty unit of measurement, or something went wrong with Windows generic MIDI detection.
Does it work with Serato ?

Would non work with Serato either.

Restart calculator (if you havent washed already)
Endeavor with another computer (if bachelor)
If none of the 2 above helps, contact seller, most probable a faulty unit

Looks like the problem exists on 2nd automobile too.
Gauge this is a hardware outcome and I’ll have to return it. 🙁
