EOS 5D Mark III, information technology was announced on 25 August 2016. The Marking IV went on sale in September 2016 with a retail toll of $3,499 in the US, £three,599 in the U.k., and €4,129 in the Eurozone. As Canon is phasing out its unabridged DSLR lineup[

EOS R5

The 5D Mark Four is offered as a body only or in a package with an
EF 24-105mm f/4L IS Two USM

zoom lens; at introduction, the suggested retail price was $3,499, with 24-105 f/4L IS 2 kit $four,599, and with 24-70 f/4L IS kit $four,399.

Upgrades

On 20 April 2017 Canon issued a printing release, announcing the upcoming availability of a
C-LOG
upgrade for existing EOS 5D Marking Four cameras. Pricing was prepare at United states$99 and cameras shipping with the feature upgrade pre-installed were announced for July 2017.

In early 2019 Canon released a Vocalization Tag upgrade for existing EOS 5D Mark Four cameras. Pricing was ready at US$99.

The upgrades are mutually exclusive, meaning only i upgrade can be applied to whatever given photographic camera at a time.
