I have an H96 Pro Plus with android seven.ane that is no longer compatible with some apps. Build NHG47L.20170922 test-keys.How can I update this?
It seems this device will ever get android 8 or 9.

That’s strange, because Netflix works in all my Android 7 boxes. My H96 Pro Plus included.
But I’yard using a custom firmware on it.

Is the Netflix app not working or you lot just can’t download it from Playstore?
If it is the second one, know that one cannot install Netflix from Google Playstore on rooted devices, and almost all android tv boxes are rooted. Simply… yous CAN manually download the Netflix app from sites like apkmirror.com or apkpure.com.
If the newer versions don’t work in Hard disk drive, try Version 4.16.

Build NMF26Q.20170524 examination-keys says Netflix need to be updated simply then in Google Play Shop it says its non compatible with this device.
You lot will have to download it from sites similar apkmirror or apkpure.
There is newer firmware for the H96 Pro Plus , latest i am enlightened of is 20180409.
But information technology is ever rooted firmware.
Where tin can I download the latest 20180409 firmware you lot mentioned?

You will find roms, launchers and other tools at that place. Quite handy for our petty tvbox – and you don’t need a Mega account to download.
As for Netflix, I have no clue about the other rom versions as I too apply NHG47L.20170922 test-keys build, but the way I coped with inability to install Netflix on various devices was to employ some custom app shop like ApkPure for case. Few months ago I used modified version of netflix apk, simply to take amend video quality (natively it was 480p, simply looked quite horrible) – but it stopped working some time ago, so I was forced to switch to original one – from ApkPure store.
And if you’re not satisfied with video quality (I haven’t used netflix for some fourth dimension, so I have no thought how’s the resolution issue on L3 devices) – apply Kodi netflix addon. It is really good in terms of quality – 560p I believe, but looks better.

I think the pre-installed version is actually onetime.
It you prefer using the boob tube version of YouTube, i propose yous to install smartyoutube (information technology’s not on playstore) or y’all can install the regular phone android.

My H96 Pro+ is almost 5 years old and at that place is only i app that dont piece of work on my box its the CW app.
Netflix works perfect upwardly to version 7.42 so don’t update your Netflix over version 7.42.
You lot don’t have to root the H96 Pro+ it works better without root. You can update all your other apps with ApkPure
No thing how long time my tvbox is used without turning information technology of information technology never gets more than 45° i have mounted a fan with usb on it and i have modifiet it so it have 4xUSB ports i can watch 10 seasons i a row and it don’t get hotter than 45°
I have try many boxes but none of them can compete with the H96 Pro+ it can use sd-card up to 512gb and i accept never any problems with my box.
The build is NMF26Q. 20170422 test-keys. I have try to install Android 7.1.two but it fu*kt upwards my box and this firmware has many errors then keep the vii.1.1 and remember to update all your apps except Netflix

Flash your box with the firmware i have then it should work with youtube.

Hi, I hadn’t turned on my H96 PRO + for a long fourth dimension. It withal had Android half-dozen and several apps not working. Later some tests with seven.1.one and 7.1.2 mod. I managed to install Pie.

I had some difficulties because with burning sd menu it stalled and with direct flashing through the burning tool the .img file failed in parsing.

ROM seems exceptional to me! Peachy! Also perfectly compatible with command devices and in detail with the G30 air mouse remote command, which can provide vocalization input for Google Assistant.
Right now I’m looking at beta2 version (merely seen at that place is an OTA update). With that version the issues I establish:

I am trying your solution, but it ends at 2%. I practise non know which version of H96 I got merely is the image universal or is it working only with specific boards?
