2.xiv.4 here even so. Doesn’t seem to be getting frequent updates but I suppose that might exist a good thing. |
I was able to replicate this a couple of days ago when messing around with some third political party routers i got from goodwill. I reported information technology to AT&T and was told it would be passed onto the development team for investigation. |

Other than intermittent crashes , and extremely slow speeds when its having problems.. My service has been stable. Especially sine I added on switches to the extenders. Stability has improved since i moved everything I can to a wired connection. |

How is the wifi on this gateway? |
2022-Feb-iv 6:45 pm My house is a tri-level with the gateway sitting about midway on the upper level. At least for me, information technology has improve reception than the BGW210 or the 5268 I previsouly had before fiber. |
It’south linux, but non RHEL or Debian. Or any major distro. It’s an embedded device. |
At least they’re only one version backside on dnsmasq. |
I’ve the Nokia variant, just checked the firmware version and it is 3.xv.7. |
My BGW320-500 only got updated to Version 3.15.7, that’southward a pretty big leap in version number. |
Exercise you notice any changes with iii.15.seven – such as the ability to manually set the 5 GHz Wi-Fi channel? |
I’m hoping this restores the power to use the 2d 5Ghz Radio on the unit. It seems to just be using the higher bands. |
I’m pretty sure the second 5 GHz radio is used exclusively for backhaul to the optional mesh device(s). But being able to manually control what channels are beingness used would help me steer abroad from interference from neighboring networks. I’ve found that their automatic scanning and selection for “best channel” is rarely best. |
From what i’ve heard, there is no backhaul for mesh. They simply merged the SSID’s into one |
BGW320-500 received iii.xv.seven last night/early on this morning time effectually one:thirty AM. MyTechLife: Exercise you find any changes with 3.15.7 – such as the ability to manually fix the 5 GHz Wi-Fi channel? No, still automatic. julerobb1: I’thousand hoping this restores the ability to use the second 5Ghz Radio on the unit. It seems to only be using the higher bands. Mine chose 44 & 157 upon reboot, simply had been using 36 & 157 earlier the update and had/accept devices attached to each. |

2022-Mar-1 9:forty pm i’ve noticed a huge change with this firmware. The 5gbps port on my gateway volition merely requite me a 3mb-5mb download speed equally opposed to effectually 940 before the update. When this happened with my original bgw320-505 i idea perchance something went wrong with the firmware update. AT&T sent me a replacement modem and all seemed well. The speed tests showed the appropriate speed until the router turned off and the app said updating firmware. Once the device completed the update and came dorsum online my download speed was back to around 3-5mbps on the 5gbps port. all of the 1gbps ports are fine. |

I have this verbal same issue on Nokia BGW320-505 firmware 3.fifteen.7. The tech had warned me about using the 5Gbps port and I had listened until i started tinkering this last calendar week. At present I know. have you tried manually setting the 5Gbps port speed from machine to 1Gbps to run across if information technology inverse anything? |
2022-Mar-two 1:40 pm Yes i did attempt to manually set the speed for the port and it made no divergence. I’m glad i’grand not the only one with this trouble! Thanks for speaking upwardly! |
…my original bgw320-505… The replacement is a -500 or a -505? |

Thanks for the clarification Luckily, my -500 hasn’t fallen victim to the issue (then far). |

2022-Mar-7 9:xviii am OSUGoose: is the airties wired or wireless connected The 4921 that I had would do either. |
