Update your contacts and remove duplicates

Speakers or displays apply your Google contacts to make calls. If your contacts’ info isn’t complete or contains similar or duplicate names or numbers, your device may not be able to place calls to certain contacts.

To clean up your contacts:

1. Go to
   contacts.google.com.
2. Tap Search
   or the search field, and enter the name of the contact yous want to update.
3. Tap the contact yous want to proceed.
4. Under “Contact details,” verify that a phone number is nowadays.
5. Now, render to your contacts and observe and tap the proper name of a duplicate contact.
6. Tap More than
   
   
   Delete.

Tips:

• Make sure all your contacts’ names are unique. Include start and final names if available.
• Add a phone number, and if bachelor, an e-mail to each contact.
• If a contact appears under “Other contacts,” tap
  Add to contacts
  to include in “My contacts.”

Permit multiple people make calls from the same device

With Voice Friction match enabled, additional members of your dwelling can use their own contacts to make calls on your device. To allow multiple people apply their contacts from the aforementioned device, each person needs to
gear up Vocalism Match.

Important: If no one sets up Voice Match, everyone can use the contacts of the device’s possessor if the owner has
personal results turned on.

Household contacts

With household contacts set up, you can allow anyone with access to your speakers or displays to call specific contacts that yous cull. On Google Nest displays, this also provides easy bear on access to make calls to those contacts.

When you make calls, the recipient may notice ‘Unknown’, ‘Individual’ or ‘Anonymous’ on their caller ID. If yous’d like the people that you call to run across your phone number instead, you tin add your phone number.
