Problem starting upward rpcs3.exe

Hello! I just discovered about the rpcs3 emulator last night and downloaded the latest build of it, just to observe that it wouldn’t beginning up on my system. (My arrangement is Windows 8.1 64-scrap.)
So anyways, the first problem which I had was that a bunch of DLL files were missing. I hands solved that trouble with Google. I obtained xiii of the missing DLL files and copied them all into the rpcs3 folder.
The next problem which I got is an fault message which began actualization whenever I tried to run the rpcs3 executable after obtaining all of those missing DLLs. This fault message reads:

“The procedure entry point _invalid_parameter_noinfo_noreturn could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Games\PSP\rpcs3.exe”

Does anybody hither know how I can solve this problem? I actually hope that you guys do. Thanks.

RE: Problem starting up rpcs3.exe

You lot don’t download DLLs from shady google websites… Delete the whole folder and start once again.

You’re missing Visual Studio C++ 2015 Redis. dependency. If you happen to take information technology, uninstall it then install

Also, I’d recommend reading

Thank you very much for such insight! As information technology turned out, I really was completely missing this Visual Studio C++ 2015 matter in my organization. Every bit soon as I installed that application from your link and reinstalled the RPCS3 so I was finally able to load a blank window of the emulator and browse through the menus.

Simply at present when I followed the instructions of the Quickstart guide and tried to kicking a game later copying it into an ID binder, I got the following error message:

—————————
Fatal mistake
—————————
Unhandled Win32 exception 0xC0000005.
Segfault writing location 0000000000000000 at 0000000000000000.
Instruction address: 0000000000000000.
RPCS3 epitome base: 0000000000010000.

So now I am wondering: How can I set this new error? And what does this new fault mean?

RE: Problem starting up rpcs3.exe

What game and what settings? Post the full log file, rpcs3.log. Put it in a .zip to be able to attach here on the forums.

Asus N55SF, i7-2670QM (~2,8 ghz under typical load), GeForce GT 555M (merely OpenGL)

RE: Trouble starting up rpcs3.exe

Y’all’re using an one-time build, grab the latest one.
Seems like the game wasn’t properly installed as it’southward complaining its files are empty.
And yous didn’t load the libraries for the game which are listed in its thread.

Desktop:
Ryzen seven 5800X, Radeon RX 6800 XT, 2x8G 3600MHz, Manjaro Linux
Laptop:
Intel i7 6700HQ, Intel Hd 530, 2x8G 2133MHz, Manjaro Linux

RE: Trouble starting up rpcs3.exe

OK, I updated the build by downloading
rpcs3-v0.0.one-2017-02-08-a1189_win64.null
and extracting it into the same folder to overwrite the old files.
The game was downloaded as an ISO file, and then the only mode for me to install it was to extract all the contents of the ISO into the precise folder which RPCS3 wanted to accept it in, named with the matching ID#. And then I did exactly that.
The title of the game shows up in the list of available games when RPCS3 starts, then it is being detected. Furthermore, both the ISO and the extracted files are each occupying almost 6GB of my hard-drive space, so they can’t possibly be “empty”, but yet I all the same keep getting that weird mistake message.
Can you please explain how I load these “libraries” which are needed? Considering I tin can’t seem to find this option anywhere in the menus. All I see is configuration options for the keypad controls. If this “loading of libraries” is a long manual procedure washed outside of menus then I wish to know the stride-by-footstep points of how to get information technology done. Thanks for educational activity me this stuff. I’chiliad accustomed to the emulators of old consoles which merely load all of a game’s data from 1 simple BIN file with 1 uncomplicated click of a mouse, but in that location’southward a offset time for everything, and I’thou willing to learn.
Thanks again.

RE: Problem starting up rpcs3.exe

Quote:Required files from the PS3’s firmware
Due to copyright problems you need a dump of those firmware files from a PS3 console you ain.
Both flashATRAC.movie and flashMP3.moving-picture show are mandatory to run games.
External .prx/.sprx (LLE) libraries which are used to reach further in the emulation of almost every game.

So yous need to get them your ain PS3 consoles, that’s how you do it legally.

RE: Problem starting up rpcs3.exe

PS3 ISOs may be encrypted, when you create an ISO you may need to decrypt it first to properly unpack information technology. So, even if the game occupies 6GBs, if the contents are encrypted so it won’t piece of work.

You can extract firmware modules from your ps3 or from a software update file called PS3UPDAT.PUP using a PUP extractor. We don’t take a guide on that yet, though, simply y’all should exist able to notice many guides on YouTube for that purpose.
