Click on the “Ability Management” tab.

Put a check-mark to the left of “allow this device to wake the computer”.

Click “OK”.

This should allow the keyboard to “wake” the estimator.

Hi all, I’m hoping someone can aid.

I am wanting to update the bios for my

HP ENVY Phoenix Desktop – 860-180st

Current bios ver: A0.08 xi/12/2015

The support page lists ii bios updates.  The one that matches my motherboard is: A0.57 Rev.A.

I downloaded, and ran the bios update sp81781.exe

It decompresses the files, and starts the update in a control prompt window.  And then the window goes away and nothing ever is updated.

I am a developer by trade, and so I tinkered with the flash.bat file to echo some settings and pause so I can encounter what the heck might be incorrect.

The merely thing I can tell is it should exist executing THIA057L.exe because my bios version is less than 11.  But it doesn’t do anything.  I tried executing this manually only nothing happens.

I practise get an ErrorLevel of 256, but the bat file doesn’t even cheque for that number and I have no idea what it means.

Has anyone successfully done this update and/or know what my issue might be?

The website, which you lot quote, was checked by me many times. But they don’t offer my Os Windows ten, 64bit.They don’t even offering results for W 8/8.one, 64bit.

Question still remains:

Is whatsoever of these bios-versions you propose compliant with ACPI ???? Which version would you advise?

Hello,

In our organisation nosotros utilize several HP thin clients, these are all running Windows Embedded Standard 7.

To install KB4012212 it needs to be running Service Pack 1.

I’ve tried numerous ways to install this only none of them seem to work.

I’ve tried using HP Compaq Thin Client Imaging Tool to upgrade the machine merely everytime I try to boot it from the USB the imaging tool has been deployed to I go the following error message:

“An unexpected status occurred”.

Is there anyone that tin assist me out with either the mistake bulletin mentioned higher up, or some proper documentation on how to upgrade this machine to SP1?

I would similar to notation this is the 4GB Thin Cient model and disk space is very limited.

Since upgrading to Windows viii.one, I tin’t use Discussion.  It comes upwards with an error message that WORD has an Error and needs to exist repaired but when you click on Repair, it doesn’t practise anything.
