[Q] Battery went to 0% now stuck on firmware update screen LG G3 (D855)

Hi!
I would need some assistance with my LG G3.
Concluding night my phone went to 0% bombardment because I didn’t put it onto the charger. Before information technology was working fine, I didn’t make any modifications to it.
This forenoon I plugged it into the charger (so not into a estimator), and it shows a screen: ” Firmware update. Practice not unplug the USB connectedness until the process is complete*. 0% (it hasn’t moved since). There is also a box on the bottom maxim: 910K B1. It is a European 16GB model.
It doesn’t respond when I printing the on/off button. Should I attempt removing the battery?
I haven’t touched it since I put it onto the charger considering I don’t want to damage information technology or something, so I would be very grateful for any assistance.

Thanks.

My guess would be that there was some kind of flashing programme running on your computer. The program rebooted your telephone into download mode and is now trying to flash a file onto your G3. If you unplugged your telephone fast plenty you lot could just try rebooting, otherwise at that place is a possibility the plan already prepared to flash the file onto your phone and now you lot take a 910K B1 (??) firmware on your telephone.

If your phone isn’t booting anymore I suggest flashing the right kdz/tot file on your phone. Good luck.

Howdy!
I would demand some assistance with my LG G3.
Last dark my telephone went to 0% battery because I didn’t put information technology onto the charger. Earlier it was working fine, I didn’t make any modifications to it.
This morn I plugged it into the charger (and then non into a figurer), and it shows a screen: ” Firmware update. Do non unplug the USB connection until the process is complete*. 0% (it hasn’t moved since). There is besides a box on the bottom saying: 910K B1. It is a European 16GB model.
Information technology doesn’t reply when I press the on/off button. Should I try removing the battery?
I haven’t touched it since I put it onto the charger because I don’t desire to damage it or something, so I would be very grateful for whatsoever help.

Thanks.

The simply way out of download mode seems to be pulling the battery, so that should exist okay. It sounds like you just accidentally held Volume Up when you plugged it up and tricked it into download mode then hopefully a battery pull will reset information technology. Let me know if the issue persists later on a bombardment pull. If that’southward the case, it may demand to be restored to stock.

My guess would be that there was some kind of flashing plan running on your estimator. The program rebooted your telephone into download mode and is now trying to flash a file onto your G3. If you unplugged your telephone fast enough you could merely try rebooting, otherwise in that location is a possibility the program already prepared to flash the file onto your phone and now yous take a 910K B1 (??) firmware on your phone.

If your phone isn’t booting anymore I propose flashing the correct kdz/tot file on your phone. Good luck.

He said in the OP that he plugged it into a charger not a estimator so that can’t be the case.

The just fashion out of download style seems to be pulling the battery, so that should be okay. It sounds like you just accidentally held Volume Upwardly when yous plugged information technology upwards and tricked it into download manner then hopefully a bombardment pull will reset it. Permit me know if the effect persists after a battery pull. If that’s the instance, it may need to be restored to stock.

He said in the OP that he plugged it into a charger not a computer and then that can’t be the instance.

Oh darn yeah, I read “into a computer”. Condone my message indeed.

OP as well states that the bottom reads “lesser saying: 910K B1”. I don’t have my telephone on me correct now, but doesn’t Download Way state nothing at the bottom? But when y’all apply a flashing tool? I could be wrong though.

Thank yous, pulling the battery helped, at first it didn’t recognise the sd merely taking it out and putting it back helped.
Information technology seems to work fine at present. And by the mode sorry, I just had a pretty rough dark out and was a bit scared of what could have happened to my phone
If anything unusual happens I’ll go on you updated but really thank y’all
:D

Ok and then, everything works fine except when I plug it into my calculator information technology doesn’t recognise the phone anymore, information technology simply says unknown device.
I tried installing the commuter and LG PC Suite, neither of them helped.
The usual options on the phone doesn’t appear (media share, charging simply), it is just simply charging.

Hey so I have had the exact same problem every bit listed above except when I pull my battery out and tried leaving it out for a minute or 2 and so putting it back and it’due south just bringing me back to beingness stuck on the firmware screen. Is there anything I can exercise to fix this?

Hold down the volume up push when turning on for a few seconds, worked for me
:)

firmware update… do not unplug.. i did not unplug for five hrs and still at 0% on downloading.

this is a small lg telephone west no mode i can tell how to pull battery

Another Resolution…

How-do-you-do, I have decided to add together another resolution yous can practice if none of the above resolutions work (similar they didn’t for me).

Another sites advise yous should factory reset your telephone, however I do not advise this unless nothing else works.

What worked for me was just holding downward the power and book down push button and quickly pressing information technology again when the LG Logo pops up, and instead of saying aye to manufactory reset, but put no and the phone should then kicking upward every bit usual without the firmware update.

Hope this helps
:)

My LG GadF8.0 does the same thing…but sadly It has a non-removable battery. And then what do I do then?

Try unplugging your phone and so turning on.

did nosotros figure the normality of the 901K B1 — asking because of the “901K B7” on my phone (after a few previously sketchy occurrences & me having it on charger non having held volume up). Thank you.

Solution

Press the volume up and downwards push same time 3 times and information technology brings yous to this screen and you have to press the power upward and down than concord the power button for one or ii seconds and release simply go over to power off hold it than it says you certain hold power push button on yeah once off power back on

Hi I accept a similar trouble, despite beingness in the same loading mode, mine is similar this later on I put it on the pc What should I do to fix this?

Hi, I have decided to add together another resolution y’all can do if none of the above resolutions piece of work (like they didn’t for me).

Another sites suggest you should factory reset your telephone, however I do not suggest this unless nothing else works.

this worked. on my lg q6+ the screen appeared on plugging into a pc on linux. this helped somewhat, equally the power push itself was not responsive, simply the ability and vol down button combo restarted the phone promptly. i didnt take any farther activeness, and the phone rebooted usually. thanks.
