How to Roll Back Firmware on R7800

It’s possible to roll back the firmware if yous are unhappy with the final build. I have non fathomed how to do it though. I tried to follow the instructions but although I tin get the B6 to connect to the internal server it still says the firmware is up to date.
The quickie instructions in English are as follows.
1. Download the archive
LgDTVUpDater.01.2017.rar
(updated January 2017)
2. Unzip it to C: \ drive
iii. Open the file C: \ LgDTVUpDater \ dns \ AcrylicHosts.txt
4. Alter 192.168.0.11 to your
local IP-Address
5. Save and close the file
half-dozen. Copy the folder C: \ LgDTVUpDater \ TV series \ online \ twelvemonth \ your model \ firmware file to the desired response htdocs binder
7. Become to the folder C: \ LgDTVUpDater \
8. Start startDNS.bat file and exercise not close the window that appears

ten. On the Goggle box, go to Settings> Network> Wired / Connecting to a Wi-Fi network> Edit> Uncheck “Automatically”> Change the DNS on your local IP-accost> click Connect
11. Click the General tab> Information on the Goggle box> Check for Updates
12. Agree on the TV firmware update. Wait until the terminate of renovation
thirteen. Plough off and turn on your Television
This may be pertinent to those who accept motion issues and are not worried most the final update for the PS4.
If anyone knows how to get the Telly to recognize the older firmware delight can you tell us how. The full instructions are difficult to decipher using Google Interpret.
Practice you retrieve that this is a sensible thing to do, i’m pretty sure yous are going to create all sorts of issues/issues messing around with the firmware.

Well I managed to get everything to work except the update itself. It merely says update failed so maybe they accept put some protection in to prevent bad flashes. Sigh…

from long transmission, simply Rar from short manual didnt piece of work for me dont use information technology. B6 at least piece of work fine at present no hissing sound with 4.30.04.
So which way did you lot do information technology?
Also tin can yous do the balls motility examination and tell me if it smooths out playback of the top brawl or not?

exactly the same every bit the United kingdom firmware?
EDIT2: I’m currently downloading the USB firmware (slowly) from the Russian support site to checksum compare with the U.k. USB file. If they are exactly the same I estimate the nsu firmware is probably the same as the United kingdom of great britain and northern ireland firmware besides. I practice not wish to flash until I have confirmed this though.
P.South. My previous flash failure was probably because I tried to utilise the USB file and not the online epk file with nsu in the filename
EDIT3 It worked fine. I was able to rollback to 4.30.l but it did not seem to fix my move issues that I tin can tell (Ball video still stutters at 1080 @ fifty fps in PC style). I don’t feel rolling back any further is worth it considering this fixes 4K stutter and HDR bugs. Simply was worth trying and is skillful to know it works in example of any serious update bugs.
