Hi,

I need help desperately. It is my showtime android device and I encountered HUGE problem. Obviously, Note ten.1 bought in Mainland china has no google play! How am I going to proceeds access to actually important apps for my schoolhouse. Worse, I’g using Mac OSX mountain lion.

I’m totally lost in rooting. Fright information technology would crash, how do I back up using Mac.

Please help. I do accept VPN services to overcome great Mainland china firewall though, only that access is only viable via my Mac Laptop. Phew.

It is not possible that notation will come without play are you sure its a gen note and have non been tampered with. Fifty-fifty if you exercise non have play yous will take samsung apps or Due south propose one of them just links you lot to google play and then that should assist you download it but still say check your device for tampering

You’re wrong. Android devices in China seldom come up with the Play Store. They usually come up with a crappy, home-grown alternative.

Hey guys, thx for your quick response but I demand a solution. There isn’t a single GOOGLE thing in this. Unbelievable. Odin won’t piece of work because I’m using Mac. sigh.. aforementioned affair happen to me. just bought it in china and no google play store installed. i try to install it by transmission, but the app shut as soon as i attempt to open it

you will take to flash a european 8010 firmware and the just way to practise that is by using ODIN. Find a friend who has a PC.

I dont own a mac so i’m non positive on this regards but tin can’t you lot use parallel to boot into windows? in one case that’s done, install ODIN and flash

Isn’t heimdall a Odin alternative for Mac… I take Mac and windows just I haven’t tried heimdall all the same and so I can’t vouch for how skilful information technology works

Almost there

I’m almost prepare to root at present. I’d downloaded heimdall frontend and all the firmwares file from Samobile. But issue is.. how do i utilize the files and ‘put it’ into the tablet. Heimdall has alot of terms I’grand not familiar with and so many tabs. What files to upload from the Samobile softwares outset and how. There’s iv folders in the firmware parcel.

1. Meta-INF
ii. Patch
3. Recovery
4. System

Am i on the right track?

目前来看在中国大陆出售的note ten.i 在三星爆出Exynos有漏洞后，提供的升级补丁封堵了这个漏洞但同时锁定了bootloader防止刷机（flash firmware)

解决方法有两个，一是用 mobile odin 强行刷入固件这避免了如上问题二是用刷机五件套或者叫完整的刷机包（包括 pit bootloader pda phone csc) 但是目前在中文网站上我只找到了一个帖子特供完整刷机包（我没权限发网址），或者希望xda上有人放出完整刷机包 PS；第二个方法是完全的解决方法，但是第一个比较容易实现，并且可以容易刷入你们习惯的操作系统，但只是治标不治本。 :fingers-crossed:

对了，别忘了在中国上google play 是要翻墙的，shadowsocks 和fq.router2 比较好用。同样憎恨中国的网络政策。Daily chat in English is easy to me , but I am not familiar with professional term.
