How to Change Printer Ink Hp Deskjet

This document is for HP DeskJet 1110, 1111, 1112, 1210, 1212, 1255, DeskJet Ink Reward 1115, 1118, 1216, and 1275 printers.

Replace ink cartridges that are depression or out of ink with new, genuine HP ink cartridges.

Step 1: Load paper

1. Raise the input tray.

2. Remove any paper from the input tray that is different than the type of paper y’all desire to load, and and then slide the newspaper width guide as far as possible to the left.

3. Load a stack of U.S. letter, A4, or legal size paper into the input tray with the short edge down and the print side facing you. Push the stack into the tray until it stops.

4. Slide the newspaper width guide to the right until it rests at the edge of the newspaper. Practise not button the guides in and then tightly that they bind against the paper.

5. Lower the output tray, and and so pull out the output tray extender.

Step 2: Supervene upon the ink cartridges

1. Printing the Power button to turn on the printer, if it is not already on.

2. Lower the output tray, if it is not already lowered.

3. Achieve inside the printer, grasp the handle, then lower the ink cartridge admission door.

4. Await until the carriage is idle and silent earlier you lot keep.

5. Lightly press downwards on the ink cartridge to release information technology.

6. Pull one ink cartridge toward you out of its slot.

7. Remove the new ink cartridge from its package. Exist careful to just touch on the black plastic on the ink cartridge.

9. Agree the ink cartridge by its sides with the nozzles toward the printer, and so insert the ink cartridge into its correct slot.

   • Insert the blackness ink cartridge () into the right slot.

   • Insert the tri-color ink cartridge () into the left slot.

10. Slide the ink cartridge at a slightly upward bending into the empty slot, then gently push up on the ink cartridge until information technology snaps into place.

11. Repeat these steps to install the other ink cartridge, if necessary.

12. Close the ink cartridge access door.

After loading the newspaper, the printer automatically prints an alignment page.
