When updating firmware on a TouchMix, does that reset all parameters in the mixer? I’m having a trouble with my wifi dongle. I’grand getting a screen prompt that says “Network SSID not found”. I’ve purchased a USB to Ethernet adapter and router and my iPad sees the router but there is no connectedness to the mixer.

The wifi fix has been the only consistent issue I accept had with the TM. I am not sure if it resets everything with the mixer but I do know that I have had issues with connecting my ipad after an update was completed.

I’ve not had any wifi problems until this one. I’m going to take it to a friend’s firm on Wed. He has one, so I’ll hopefully be able to come across if it’south. A software or hardware problem.

Just salve your scenes to USB stick, then you lot can instantly reload them after a reboot.

If y’all don’t have V3 software, it’southward excellent and a large improvement.

Mine retained the scenes when I upgraded, but I would save them externally simply because…
Second the new upgrade is like a whole new mixer.

I saved the scenes to a stick and the scenes did survive the update(most electric current). My problem is with wifi. I go a “Network SSID not constitute” warning and no wifi.

Try turning everything off – so turn the router on and
then the Touchmix. Also go into the principal menu
network settings and come across if the mixer has the
router listed.

I purchased a dissever Wifi and adapter when I bought the TM16, and information technology was nothing but bug. I went back to the petty dongle that came out of the box and have never had problems.

I accept non notwithstanding plant a USB to ethernet adaptor that the TM would work with. I finally simply started using my router as a wifi span or admission point and that has been working ok.

I went to Micro Middle in my area bought a Inland (kind of firm make I think) another one that I’d never heard of, and a netgear. All iii of them the mixer kept saying connexion failed. then in red in the box where it tells the condition it said cablevision not detected.

so I gave up and just been doing information technology as a wireless admission point kind of thing. Seems to piece of work ok.

I bought an Insignia ethernet to usb adapter at Best Purchase that’s working fine with the router and mixer.

Even their manual states that it has to be a certain kind of chipset for information technology to work.
