Trouble with Updating Nikon Z6 firmware
My Nikon Z6 has firmware 1.01. I have tried to update it to FW 1.03, but the bin file transferred to my Sony XQD disk is not recognize when I go to firmware in the setup menu. Here is what is shown on that disk:
I must be doing something wrong merely cannot figure out what it is. I haven’t had updating problems with my D750 so this is a puzzle for me. I appreciate any communication…Frank

at that place is no version 1.03 for Z6…. yous cant upload Z7 FW to Z6…

Load file on card via bill of fare reader in PC
y’all can’t upload the file straight to camera connected to the estimator. Apply a card reader plugged into your reckoner. Put the XQD bill of fare in the reader of grade.

The OP did say that he was using the XQD card to hold the file – just it seems he was trying to load Z7 firmware into a Z6.

Thanks to all for quick replies. Yep, that was my error—tried to update with Z7 on a Z6. Now encounter that current Z6 FW update IS one.01. I missed that fact when I Googles for Z6 updates. Live & Acquire…Thank you again to all…Frank
