I accept tried to install the latest printer commuter, and unfortunately, information technology did not work, I forgot to mention that I have also tried to install some other catechism printer ip1980 on my laptop, still I got the same problem. When I endeavour to update the driver from online, it says something like this “Device driver was non successfully installed”, when I tried to search update from my computer it says “Windows has institute a commuter for your device only couldn’t install, admission is denied”.
I besides tried to install the device on rubber mode thinking some applications try to block the process, still did not work for me, it gives me this bulletin “Windows has establish a commuter for your device but couldn’t install, access is denied” then i checked the install error under device director/device properties
its error 00000005

Catechism printers a existent sensative with commuter/software installs,if you
dont do it right the 1st fourth dimension it can be a problem…1st,one time printer is
plugged in & Os starts,yous recieve found new hardware,the OS installer
starts,let information technology run w/o whatsoever input,but at the same time,open the software/
drivers from canon,they run auto,the Bone installer will complete once all
from canon are installed..Yous demand to chk canon for multiple downloads,
kickoff with the 1st…Also,with a failed installation like you had,sometimes
you lot demand to plug into a diffrent port,this lets you start from scratch…

Be sure to contact Canon Back up.
Be sure yous are logged in every bit ADMIN.
If you lot accept Whatsoever printers installed now uninstall them ALL and reboot.

I agree with you that canon printers are sensitive, and I’ve been thinking of compatibility issue between canon and microsoft, particularly when windows updates automatically, the printer works fine before, I don’t know if something from the windows updates messed it up. I already tried plugging the device in different ports of my laptop, I fifty-fifty tried another catechism printer that worked on my windows xp pc on my windows 7 laptop, from in that location information technology did not work. I take tried to install/re-install the driver multiple times already. I could non place the outcome further except for “access denied, error 00000005” when trying to install the driver from windows update.
