I’m Kevin B. Independent advisor and Windows 10 user like you. I do apologize for the inconvenience not having your Bluetooth. Its kind of strange that your Bluetooth settings is gone fifty-fifty in the notification center.
Have you made some changes that outcome the result ?
If your Bluetooth devices are non showing, pairing or connecting, or not finding devices, endeavour these sugestions:
Run Hardware and Device Troubleshooter
Restart Bluetooth Back up Service
Enable the Bluetooth Audio Service
Update Bluetooth Device Driver.
Run Hardware and Device Troubleshooter
The built-in Hardware Troubleshooter scans for problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware attached to your computer is installed correctly or not. To run the troubleshooter, do the following:
Press the ‘Windows + W’ key.
Blazon troubleshooter in the search box and hit the ‘Enter’ key.
Click hardware and audio and run the Hardware and Device troubleshooter.
Restart Bluetooth Back up Service
Y’all may want to check if the related Services are started and running smoothly. To do this, press Windows fundamental + R, type services.msc. Next, right-click on Bluetooth Support service and select Restart.
Correct-click on Bluetooth support service and select Properties and ensure that the startup type is Automatic.

Thanks for your help.
- No; there was no change before it stopped working – it worked fine yesterday merely this morning it is gone. The merely changes I made were later on that (updating Windows and reinstalling the bluetooth driver to effort to fix it)
- When I press Win + West , information technology starts MS Whiteboard, so I opened the Bluetooth Troubleshooter via Windows Settings instead
- When I run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter, it just says “Device does not have Bluetooth”, and suggests using an external adaptor.
- I ran services.msc and restarted Bluetooth Support Service
- I then changed startup type to ‘automated’ (it was ready to ‘transmission’)
- I then restarted, but it the problem is still there – it is missing from Device Manager and the on/off button is missing from Bluetooth Settings

Cheers for the update. Lamentable it didn’t work so far. Have you checked if all the windows update is properly installed? If there is one windows update that is non installed maybe it might decadent the features of windows.
Have you bank check if there is a rollback selection on device manager?
If it is possible for you, tin can y’all rollback the previous version of Windows?

This is not fix solution, this is a stone instead of wheel on car, it will exist dorsum. I had the same trouble before few month, than I tried everything without sucess, than I returned system to previous condition and it was OK few month, than this morn, bang, the aforementioned problem, the same no solution, and now I am returning system dorsum on Acer PC old three calendar month. So your suggestion when car bankrupt was to take public coach, or to put rock instead of wheel, this is non fix solution, and many people have that problem, merely cheque youtube. Microsoft need to employ people who will give us real solutions, non temporary improvisations which don’t work later all. It is simply not adept plenty. You people are not good plenty. I don’t know why you answer question with those BS suggestions? Return arrangement dorsum, and than after a while, the aforementioned problem because Microsoft install something without our knowladge and it is not visible to united states of america, and it was not update. Last update I had before 2 days, and it was Windows Defender update. So subsequently update, it was OK, this morn I don’t accept anymore Bluetooth which was there when I purchased Acer PC in April 2020, and Windows 10 Troubleshot tell me that my device is not compatible to accept Bluetooth? The same old Microsoft uncompetent customer service. They never have a solution, but bunch of uncempoetent morons giving usa stupid improvisations! Not foreign Apple is worth a trillion.

“… answer questions with BS suggestions …” Y’all are oversimplifying. Outset they pretend that Windows doesn’t practice sh*t like this all the time and that the user must have screwed up. Information technology never fails. Every time I research a Windows event, the first “good” e-mail out of the gate – what did you install?
