Dd Wrt Revert to Original Firmware Netgear
Question
delete dd-wrt from my netgear Knighthawk r7000 back to stock netgear firmware so I can install tomato firmware instead

You “delete” DD-WRT past installing the stock firmware. Just like how you installed DD-WRT in the beginning place, you merely wink the stock firmware.Firmware found here –

Do I have to do a difficult reset first? a thirty/30/30 by holding the reset button with a paper clip

I would do the 30/30/thirty reset.
Okay and and then practise I hit the Upgrade firmware tab or the backup tab and enter the firmware.chk file in the restore settings box? And should I make sure that i choose reset to defaults? Or should I select don’t?

Utilise the upgrade tab only like y’all did installing DD-WRT the first time. And I would reset to defaults.
Okay. Got it done. Let me ask though and this question is actually for anyone that tin see it I judge. Not really certain if only y’all tin can see this message, merely, If anyone has a Nighthawk AC1900 Model # (R7000) Tin can anyone tell me if they are able to install Love apple firmware on it? It says it’s compatable with both dd-wrt and tomato plant firmware. When I try to install tomato firmware it says it’s not compatable with this router. And I know that it is. So if anyone knows of a fix or a workaround, instead of getting another router, I would greatly capeesh it.

I used to play with all these things but now that my internet speed is much fast I have discovered that I had to make a choice use fancy router features or get the raw speed. The cpu in even the fastest routers quickly bottlenecks a connectedness. You actually demand to use a actual estimator to keep up with internet connections and use many of the features. Even the factory images have a large number of features you tin can not utilize without canteen necking your fast connection.

Third political party firmware is a pain to go right files many times. Non sure about your router simply some have unlike hardware revisions and demand dissimilar images. I got tomato on My router and I accept wireless completley disabledAs I exercise not use information technology but I was wondering if maybe y’all know How to clone my mac address to use the one that my computer uses with an ethernet true cat 7 connection? Also is there a reboot button in the tomato firmware? I have looked and I do not run across it? I will figure outmyself how have ipvanish working with the tomato firmware with my r7000 router from netgear NightHawk
