I assume y’all also updated Atmosphere/Hekate?
Inspect that the pins of the Joycon on the look all right and are not bend/broken.
I presume you lot’re pressing the ‘vol down’ push button?
If yous are using a USB cablevision, cheque that the cable is fine (or that it is not a accuse-merely cable).
If you are using a PC see if TegraRCMGUI outputs some mistake or debug information.
If you are using Rekado on Android, make sure that your USB port is in OTG fashion.
If you’re using a standalone injector, then check if information technology is charged enough as most of them run on batteries.
As well check if you have the latest payload from Atmosphere. Likely you can’t apply the one-time payload that was used with your previous CFW (but you should see an mistake though).
I unlikely possibility is that you might boot into OFW automatically due to some wrong settings in your CFW config files.
I presume you also updated Atmosphere/Hekate?

Pins are all good and ribbon cable is connected properly in the switch itself. No trouble when pairing with a controller either.

Using the same USB cable and setup that worked final week did not help. Neither irresolute where I plugged it in nor changing the cablevision seems to make a difference. Though, I have not tried it on my SO’s computer because I did not think that would make a difference since the consequence was getting it to start in RCM, not getting it recognized as being in RCM.
But, restarting while connected to her estimator where I installed only TegraRcmGUI and the driver seems to have fixed it somehow. Everything working as predictable on my reckoner now too. So weird.

Have a modded switch, updated to 13.ane.0 firmware, and now I can’t enter RCM. Using a jig, but still nada, it boots into the stock. Holding power/volume doesn’t work. Your sd card is the outcome, either the card itself or your files. Thats why it boots without the card inserted.

It doesn’t utilize the sd card to enter rcm, once once more it wasn’t the sd carte du jour

RCM only depends on holding volume + when turning the console on and if pivot ten is grounded. The SD menu is irrelevant to booting RCM.
