Question: Does information technology truly “Automatically” switch? I have two computers and one printer. I purchased a similar product of a dissimilar brand. It said it “Automatically” switches, just the user had to do a keyboard shortcut to switch. I demand a switch that truly “Automatically” switches when the user prints from Windows to the printer. I computer runs Win 7 and one runs XP Pro

However, the automatic functionality of this product is based on software and is only bachelor with USB printers or the printer function of a multi-function printer. One time installed and prepare on both computers, the software volition handle the automatic print switching, as long as the USB hub lock is not preventing switching betwixt computers. For other types of USB switching, at that place is too a manual push-button.
